second level is done and some other stuff


As you can see in the video, the second level sort of contrasts the first one since instead of going to a destination you get surrounded by enemies. Also, this will be the first level where you'll also be able to play as Jullus since presumably Jonar spent the first level going to the town to enslave someone.

The only other noticeable change is that there is now a visual queue for when you move up close to a sign. It somehow took forever for me to figure out how to do this.

It's been taking me even longer to figure out how to get this new menu system fully working. I'm still glad that I got rid of the old one since honestly I'd probably spend even more time fiddling around with that but even then it's still been really frustrating. I'm ninety percent sure that it's only because the buttons aren't centered on the screen but until I figure out how to get the buttons to lock onto the screen I have no idea.

Besides that I also added functionality that allows for some enemies to be able to follow you no matter how far you are away from them. None of the enemies in the first level have this but every enemy in the second level does which makes sense they are invading your house. I'll probably add more little things like this throughout development to make encounters slightly more interesting.
