started working on system that will make camera move to interesting areas before the level starts


After making the clear condition where the player has to reach a destination, I realized that there's no point on having a clear condition like that if the player doesn't even no where to go. This gave me the idea to make the camera show interesting parts of the level before the level starts. This also means that the player could be informed about a large wave of enemies somewhere or a checkpoint. This could also mean that certain levels could have surprise attacks that the game doesn't warn you about.

While I have no footage to show today, I should have something ready tomorrow.
